Giux-CalcLab SPICE Documentation
Giux-CalcLab SPICE is a browser-based circuit editor with two current execution paths: local ngspice in WebAssembly and validated simulation on isolated Giux-CalcLab server workers. These pages describe the features available in the current release.
Simulation modes
| Mode | Account | Execution |
|---|---|---|
| Browser simulation | Not required | ngspice runs locally in WebAssembly. This mode supports the editor's local analysis and overlay tools. |
| Server simulation | Verified Guest, Registered, or Trusted | A validated netlist and one bounded analysis run in an isolated Giux-CalcLab worker. |
Access levels
| Access | Current capabilities |
|---|---|
| Guest | Email OTP verification, one server job per guest capability, temporary results with a 2-day retention period, and no persistent workspace. |
| Registered | Account-based server simulation, temporary results retained for 14 days by default, and a persistent workspace with a 100 MiB default quota. |
| Trusted | An explicitly assigned scientific account profile with separate server limits, 90-day temporary retention, and a 10 GiB default workspace quota. |
Browser simulation remains available without any account.
